    • Scrolling up in the chat no longer reloads the page: pull-to-refresh only fires when the message list is really at the top (the web app reports the scroll position), with a larger trigger distance.
    • All settings tabs are reachable on phones (the tab row scrolls horizontally).

    Clearer Google sign-in errors (microG).

    • The app shows the Google sign-in error code instead of silently opening the browser, so a wrong SHA-1/package in the Android OAuth client is visible.
    • Cancelling the account picker no longer leaves the app.
    • A missing ID token is reported with a hint about the Android OAuth client.

    Voice input in the web chat.

    • The composer button becomes a microphone when the input is empty and voice input is available.
    • Recording is transcribed on the server (/api/transcribe) when the browser has no Web Speech API, which also makes voice input work inside the Android WebView.
    • The app now requests and grants the microphone permission to the WebView.

    First production-signed release.

    • Release-signed APK (smaller, minified). NOTE: the signing key changed, so uninstall the old debug build before installing this one.
    • Android App Links: returning from the browser uses https://chat.n1ko.dev/app-auth (verified via assetlinks.json); nikogpt:// stays as a fallback.
    • Attach sheet now offers File or Camera; pictures are uploaded through the system file provider.
    • Share to NikoGPT from other apps fills the composer.
    • The web UI offers an update when a newer version is published.

    Google sign-in now works on microG too.

    • Fallback chain: Credential Manager (GMS) -> legacy Google Sign-In API (microG implements it) -> browser flow with the nikogpt:// hand-back.
    • The browser hand-off page waits with an explicit button, so it works in browsers that block custom-scheme redirects.
    • Requires an Android-type OAuth client (package dev.n1ko.nikogpt + signing SHA-1).

    Native Google sign-in.

    • The Google buttons now open the native account picker (Credential Manager) inside the app; the ID token is exchanged for a session through the WebView.
    • Automatic fallback to the browser flow with the nikogpt:// hand-back when no Google provider is available (e.g. microG) or the picker is cancelled.
    • Requires an Android-type OAuth client in Google Cloud: package dev.n1ko.nikogpt + the signing SHA-1.

    Fixes the session loss on app restart.

    • Flush the WebView cookie store on stop and after page loads: Chromium batches cookie writes, so the login session could be lost when Android killed the process.
    • English-only default resources with Russian translations (values-ru).
